Thomas Moriarty
Chief Engineer and Co-Founder

Prior to co-founding Firecomms, Thomas Moriarty was responsible for setting up the Irish subsidiary of Moog Inc. and overseeing its expansion to become Moog's design and manufacture centre for electronic motor controllers for world markets. At Moog, Thomas managed a staff of 170, including a design group of 25 electronic and software engineers.

Thomas has also served as Chairman of the Board of Power Electronics Ireland, and Chairman of the Cork Electronics Industry Association. He has played a leading role in three international take-overs.

Thomas holds a Masters in Engineering from UCD and a Masters in Business Studies from the University of Warwick.
